On upload, BriefTech proposes a document date and a short description for every file. You confirm or correct them in Review — an edited value is kept and never overwritten.

Serial numbers follow the order you arrange, and the Disclosure preset sets the columns — serial number, document date, description — and turns on the hyperlinked index.

Export the whole set
The All Files export produces a single ZIP: a Word index, an Excel index, and every document renamed <serial>-<date>-<description> — ready to disclose.

BriefTech takes the repetitive half — the dating, describing, numbering and renaming — and does it on upload, leaving you to confirm rather than compose. The List of Documents you export is the same underlying detail the rest of the matter already uses, so disclosure isn’t a separate deliverable to build from scratch; it’s a view of the index you’ve been shaping all along.
Common questions
Can I produce a partial or staged disclosure?
Yes. Filter the matter to a collection and export just that subset — the export covers every document in the collection except those in the Bin, and filtering also reduces what the export costs in credits.
Is the exported index hyperlinked?
The Disclosure preset turns the exported Word/PDF index's hyperlinks on, so each entry links to its document. (The table of contents printed inside a generated bundle is never hyperlinked.)
How are the exported files named?
By default each file is renamed to its serial number, date and description — for example '1-2024.01.15-email from alice to bob.pdf' — so the set reads in order.
